We have recently updated our health, safety and safeguarding policies which will be live on the website by the end of the week.
It is important that you familiarise yourself with these policies with particular emphasis on the ones entitled
There is a defibrillator inside the clubhouse which could be lifesaving in the event of someone collapsing, as we witnessed in the Euro games when Denmark played their first game.
Use of the defibrillator is straightforward but we urge you to watch the short video produced by the London Ambulance Service which is clear and goes through the operation step by step. It also demonstrates CPR for those not familiar with this.
There are also step by step written instructions in the “Procedure if someone collapses” policy on the website
HOWEVER there is nothing as good as a visual demonstration so DO take just a few minutes to go on to the link and watch the video. It could mean the difference between life or death.
PLEASE NOTE THAT AS THE DEFIBRILLATOR IS INSIDE THE CLUBHOUSE IT IS ESSENTIAL YOU OPEN THE DOOR ON ARRIVAL SO THAT ACCESS IS CLEAR FOR EVERYONE
