Clubhouse Toilet Facilities

Hi everyone.

Please be aware that from Monday 15th June we shall be re-opening the clubhouse for the use of toilet facilities and access to the floodlight switches ONLY.

This is another small step in our controlled, cautious return to the normality of our tennis club.

The risk of Covid-19 is still with us, so the re-opening of the clubhouse will come with the strict toilet access rules below. We are sure all members will both understand and comply with these rules to ensure the health and safety of all members:

1. The clubhouse must always remain locked and only unlocked to use the toilets; it must be locked again immediately after use.
2. Strictly ‘one at a time’ access to the clubhouse for use of the toilets, other than parents / guardians supervising children (see 7 below).
3. There is a supply of anti-bacterial wipes which must be used to clean all surfaces and the toilet area prior to use.
4. Toilet seat lids must be closed when flushing.
5. Clean all the toilet areas again after use.
6. Wash hands thoroughly afterwards; hand sanitiser and paper towels are available, but the hand dryers will not be available.
7. Use of the toilets by children should be avoided if possible. If not, children must be supervised by parents / guardians (only) to ensure the above toilet access rules are complied with.

Use of the clubhouse toilets is entirely at members’ own risk. 

Similarly, if you unlock the clubhouse to switch the floodlights on, please lock it again immediately.

Obviously – as has always been the case – the last one to leave:

1. If the floodlights are on, turn them off
2. Check the clubhouse is securely locked
3. Lock the gate to the grounds
