Upcoming Summer Social Events At The Club
Come along to the Chorleywood Lawn Tennis Club and start the summer season with some social fun. Whether you’re ready to try new foods or play tennis with your tots, we’ve got events for all ages! Scroll down to learn about upcoming 2024 events and how to get involved.
Family Fun Day
We’re kicking off the summer months with Family Fun Day from 2 to 5 pm on Sunday, June 16th.
Round up the little ones and enjoy some lighthearted tennis and games for all ages. The winning team gets the privilege of soaking the club chairman in the stocks! Aim for parents and kids teams of four where possible.
We’ll also be supplying cakes and tea. This event has been a hit in the past, and we’re looking forward to another year of competition! See the recap of last year’s fun here.

Caribbean BBQ Feast
Summer is here, and it’s time to indulge in good food and music while making the most of the weather. Join us on Saturday, June 29th, at 7:30 p.m. for a catered Caribbean BBQ feast with reggae music and excellent company.
The Caribbean feast will include:
- Jerk chicken
- Curry goat
- Sweet potato & lentil dahl (V)
All meals include rice and peas, homemade coleslaw, and plantain. For dessert, you can choose between summer fruit salad and meringue (Eton Mess)—well deserved after a few sets of tennis!
Sunshine, music, and good food on the terrace. What more could you ask for?
